Polaris Office AI officially launched & new feature 'ASK Doc' updated

Hello. This is the Polaris Office team.

Polaris Office AI, a generative AI service optimized for document editing, was officially released on September 6.
The following updates were added with the general release

1.  'ASK Doc' to chat with the document and get just the information you need.

ASK Doc is a new feature that lets you chat with a document and summarize key points, or smartly see just what you want.

There are two ways to run an ASK Doc.

Open the document in the app and click the purple "AI" icon in the lower left corner.

Click the button in the "Polaris Office AI help?" section that appears automatically when you open a document in the app.

Once the feature is running, the document will be analyzed directly by the AI and 3 questions related to the document will be suggested, and you can either select 1 of the suggested questions or type your own questions related to the document, like the "chat" in AI Write.

For example, you can use it like this

1. Summarize the main points of the article
2. Where is the stuff about OOO (on how many pages?)?
3. Explain more information about OOO (tabulate information, etc.)

If you want to get to the point quickly, like chatting with a document, try ASK Doc.

*Currently, the ASK Doc feature supports Hangul (HWP) and PDF document formats and is only

available on mobile (Android, iOS) apps that have been updated to the latest version.

2.  Upgrade 'AI Write' & 'Text to Image' AI models

To coincide with the general availability of the service, we've also updated our AI features with model upgrades to make them smarter and more accurate.

Now you can experience smarter AI writing and image creation with Polaris Office AI.

3.  Announcing the launch and promotion of the AI Plan

 The AI plan gives you an additional 3,000 credits per month on top of what you get with the basic PRO plan, and the AI PLUS plan gives you unlimited AI-only credits, so you can use them freely with no credit limit.

From Wednesday, September 6th to Saturday, September 30th, we are also running a promotion for members who have paid for an AI plan within that timeframe to receive an additional 1,000 credits per month for a year, for a total of 4,000 credits. (You will automatically be eligible for the promotion when you purchase a plan).

Our new AI plans give you access to ASK Doc, writing, image creation, and more.
